Welcome
“With full joy of heart proclaim and bless the Name
of the Holy One."
– Sirach 39:35
This website represents the creative work of my hands. I am a Sister living the eremitic life as a consecrated hermit/anchoress within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen.
Within the "desert space" of the hermitage, an anchoress prays and develops the gifts given by God. The handwork you view throughout this site, like Handwoven clergy stoles, represents God's gifts made tangible as well as, and most especially, the gift of silent prayer in solitude. All Handwoven clergy stoles, as well as all other creative work listed below, are enfolded in prayer.
Handwoven Clergy Stoles: Berith, Emet, Hesed, Messiah, Ruah , and Jerusalem Series
- Handwoven Scarves
- Our Lady's Rosary Compact Disc
- Envelopes Addressed in Copperplate Script
- Scripture Note Cards
To download a brochure detailing pocket tissue cases, sachets, etc., please click on General Brochure. To download a brochure detailing natural handcrafted soaps, please click on Soap Brochure. You may also e-mail, write, or phone for any further information. Stoles are on hold until May 2010. Stole Gift Cards are available all year round. Thank you!
A hermit/anchoress is financially independent of the diocese within which she belongs. You are invited to view the creative work displayed and detailed throughout this site. By purchasing these items, as well as items in the brochure, you enable my self-support. Your purchase makes it possible for me to continue living a life of solitary prayer and work within the hermitage for you and for all.
May the gaze of Mary, Our Lady of Tenderness, be upon you. May she lead you, from this moment onward, ever nearer the Heart of Christ, her Son and our tender Savior.
The celtic harp music that is gracing your heart at this moment is the creative work of a supportive friend of this anchoress who is both a fervent devotee of Our Lady and lover of Our Lord. Celtic Harp Music
